Moving House

I've moved house a lot in my life, so I've practically developed a routine for the process. A move always means saying goodbye and building something new. You have to leave behind your old apartment with its familiar bathroom tiles and the sunset that still takes your breath away. Your friends no longer live just around the corner. But you don't leave everything behind; you also bring so many memories with you to your new abode. Moving house also means making a new start, so you have the chance to let your imagination run free, and maybe turn some of your dreams into reality.

Tips: How to Make Moving House Easier

  • Labeling:
I find it pays off to label the boxes with the appropriate room, so you know where to put them straight away when you get to your new place.
  • Helping Hands:
The more assistance you have when moving house, the quicker it all gets done. Afterwards, you should provide a restorative meal and something to drink as a little thank-you to your helpers.
